Larry was born in Montreal, but has lived in Toronto (Canada) since he was three years old. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto in 1988 and worked in the automotive industries for many years in various roles. In 2003 Larry acquired a point and shoot digital camera and what was then a casual interest in photography quickly became a passion! Other interests include oil painting, playing baseball and hockey, hiking the great outdoors and traveling. Larry has done photo tours of several of well known North American National Parks and when he wishes to shoot close to home he heads down to the Scarborough Bluffs and/or the Leslie Spit in the Toronto area.
I am constantly working on getting the left and right brain to work in creative harmony to produce my artistic vision of the world. During a photo shoot, the constantly changing light conditions challenge the right brain to create a unique vision while the left brain systematically considers how to manipulate the camera technology to best capture my creative vision. My photos are a visual representation of how I want to see the world. Thanks for visiting my website. It is a great privilege to share my photos with you.
